Teenage girl left dead after boating accident in Table Rock Lake

A boating accident took place Sunday in Table Rock Lake at around 4:15 p.m. that left one teenager dead and another one injured.

The boat was traveling southbound across the lake when it struck the two teenage swimmers and then rammed into a rock bluff. The impact resulted in the death of a 15 year old girl from O'Fallon, Missouri. It also left a 16 year old boy with minor injuries who was then taken to Cox Branson hospital.

The names of the victims have not been released at this time.
