Man dies in Grand Lake Saturday evening

UPDATE: Emporia State University confirmed the death of redshirt sophomore football player Brexten Green on Sunday.

A man reportedly died in the Dripping Springs area of Grand Lake over the weekend.

Justin Alberty of the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) is reported to have confirmed the man died Saturday evening in the Duck Creek Arm of Grand Lake after he jumped from a cliff.

A body was reportedly recovered a short time later in just over 30 feet of water.

No identification or other information has yet been released. The investigation is in process.
