Two safe after tree falls on tent at Crawford State Park

Gardiner, Kansas residents Al and Cindy Medina say they feel glad to be alive after a tree fell onto their tent at over the weekend at Crawford State Park. Neither was hurt.

Al says he thinks the frame of his 1960s-era canvas tent saved them.

Cindy says it was a scary night but, other than the loss of the tent, they are managing to salvage most of their belongings.

Best of all, as Cindy said, "We're alive.

Crawford State Park is located near Farlington, Kansas.
