Domestic dispute in Parsons leads to hefty damages

Parsons Police were dispatched this morning after receiving a report of a domestic dispute at the 1700 block of Stevens. The caller said the suspect was a shirtless male aggressively yelling at a woman just before running off in the direction of 16th street.

Sergeant Brice Dickens and Corporal Kyle Shields arrived at the scene and located the suspect standing near a series of vehicles with their side view mirrors busted off. Near by were witnesses positively identifying the suspect to the officers.

Authorities detained 22 year old Travis Caine Kellogg of Parsons who later confessed to all the damages. Damage was dealt to nine vehicles, a mailbox, a large flowerpot from the Parsons Library, and two windows at the Parsonion Apartments. Authorities are still waiting for an estimated cost of all the damages done, but they know it will be minimum of $6,000.
