Aurora motorcyclist killed in hit-and-run

A man from Aurora, Missouri, was killed after a motorcycle crash Wednesday morning in Barry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the collision happened at the intersection of Farm Road 1180 and State Highway Z, south of Aurora, when a pickup truck failed to yield to 38-year-old Patrick E. Anderson, who was riding his sport bike.
The patrol report says the driver of that truck fled the scene after hitting Anderson, who was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
