CMN kicks off fundraising campaigns at Sam's Club in Joplin

For 35 years, Walmart and Sam's Club have partnered Children's Miracle Network-hospitals to change kid's health for the better.

This year's fundraising campaign  kicked off today  in Joplin.

Romesh Navaratnam of Sam's says it all becomes personal when he takes a look at his own family.

"Having kids at home, I would not want any of my kids to go through what those families go through," Navaratnam says.

"I think the community is what supports them. I feel like I do my part in helping those kids."

Sam's in Joplin raised over $61,000 for CMN last year, putting them at the top of the list for that company in 2021.
