Bella Vista resident injured in car wreck resulting from medical incident

A Bella Vista resident is reported to have suffered serious injuries after a medical incident led to a crash on Route E, about 10 miles northeast of Jane, Missouri around 11:50 Friday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a northbound Chevy Tahoe driven by 42-year-old Mark E. Armstrong of Bella Vista traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
The Patrol says his vehicle was totaled. Armstrong was not wearing a safety restraint at the time of the accident.
He was taken to a Bentonville hospital in serious condition.
