Joplin woman pleads guilty to DWI in fatal crash

A woman from Joplin, who was high on meth when she caused a fatal accident, has pleaded guilty.
On January 3rd of last year, 31-year-old Rita Glasgow blew thru a stop sign at 28th and Connecticut in Joplin and slammed into an SUV.
That crash claimed the lives of 55-year-old Terry Copple and 48-year-old Rhonda Copple.
Glasgow plead guilty Tuesday to DWI resulting in death and possession of a controlled substance.
She’ll be sentenced in late July.
