Free Earth Day Celebration slated for Saturday

The community is invited to celebrate Earth Day with a free, family-friendly event in downtown Pittsburg.

Mark your calendars for 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 for the Pittsburg Earth Day Celebration in Pritchett Pavilion in Immigrant Park.

Enjoy good food, live music, kid-friendly activities, and more as you learn about how each of us can make a difference in the future of our planet.

The theme of this year’s celebration will be the "52nd observance of Earth Day — “Invest in Our Planet."
