Weekend motorcycle accident takes life of man from Adrian

A motorcycle rider is dead following a weekend crash on I-249 about 14 miles north of Nevada.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a northbound 1999 Harley Davidson operated by 69-year-old Charles L. Tschudi of Adrian, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a guardrail, ejecting the the driver.

It happened around 4:30 Sunday afternoon.

Tschudi was pronounced dead about an hour later at Nevada Regional Hospital in Nevada.
