Hartzler’s Twitter account suspended for anti-Trans athlete tweet

Missouri Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler’s personal Twitter account has been suspended. 

The social media giant took action against the Republican from west-central Missouri for criticizing trans-women athletes. 

The tweet reads: “Women’s sports are for women, not men pretending to be women.” 

Hartzler blasted Twitter in a press release, saying the company views her as a bigger threat than Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose Twitter account is still active. 

She says she won’t delete the tweet, even if it means her personal account remains suspended.
