Morning car wreck injures two drivers, one seriously

A two car accident on Gateway Drive about 3 miles north of Neosho this morning  resulted in injuries to two drivers.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells NewsTalk KZRG  a 2004 Chevy Tahoe driven by 22-year-old Zackary M. Whittlesly of Granby pulled into the path of a 2007 Saturn Ion driven by 36-year old Christina Stotts of Joplin.

It happened just before  8 a.m.

Whittlesly had only minor injuries but Stotts was seriously injured.

Both driver were transported to Freeman West for treatment.
