Missouri Gov. Mike Parson slated to visit Joplin this week

JEFFERSON CITY, MO –  Governor Parson is coming to town.

The Governor will share his proposed investments in workforce and higher education and hear from local education, business and community leaders.

On Thursday, Parson will hold a workforce and higher education round table discussion with representatives from Missouri Southern State University, Crowder College, and other area leaders.

The event, which starts at 1:15 p.m., will take place in the North End Zone Facility at Missouri Southern State University.
