Man arrested after breaking school bus window, attempting to assault driver

One man is in custody after he allegedly tried to assault a school bus driver in Webb City.

School officials say the suspect made his way onto the high school parking lot Tuesday morning.

He then allegedly broke a school bus window in an attempt to assault the bus driver with students inside.

The Webb City School District says the man was not able to get on the bus itself and was arrested a short time later.

No one was injured during the incident.

The unidentified suspect faces Assault and Property Damage charges.
