Crash injures man from Neosho

A one-car crash on U.S. 60 at Finch Drive, about five miles east of Seneca, has resulted in injuries to a man from Neosho.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report says a westbound vehicle driven by 21-year-old Caleb C. Thurston traveled off the left side of the road at a high rate of speed and overturned several times  just after 8 p.m. on New  Year’s Eve.

The Patrol report says Thurston was not wearing a safety device.

He was transported to a Joplin hospital suffering serious injuries.
