NEO in Miami placed on lockdown, vice-president says Sunday

The campus of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) was placed on lockdown this weekend, extending into Sunday.

Amy Ishmael, Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management at NEO, told NewsTalk KZRG, the measure was taken due to an abundance of caution.

“Due to an incident that happened off campus, NEO is on lockdown for precautionary measures,” Ishmael said.

Ishmael did not comment on the nature of the off-campus incident.
