Lamar woman killed, others injured in two-vehicle crash

A woman from Lamar was killed in a two-vehicle accident that injured four others in Barton County Tuesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 27-year-old Elizabeth Kirch failed to yield and pulled into the path of a truck driven by 45-year-old Jose Cabrales of Lamar.

The accident happened on Route T, four miles southeast of Lamar.

Kirch was pronounced dead at the scene.

A four-year-old and an infant in her car suffered moderate to minor injures and were flown to a Springfield hospital.

Her other passenger, 29-year-old Levi Brubaker, also of Lamar, suffered serious injuries.

Cabrales also suffered serious injuries.
