US Senate candidate McCloskey shows support for Rittenhouse

Missouri U.S. Senate candidate Mark McCloskey is in Kenosha, Wisconsin, showing support for Kyle Rittenhouse as we await the verdict of the teenager's murder trial.

Fox News reports that Mark and his wife Patricia made the trip. Both of them made national headlines last year when they were seen standing on their property brandishing firearms as protestors marched past their home.

The Associated Press reports that Mark McCloskey compared himself to Rittenhouse in a statement Tuesday, saying they have both been prosecuted and were defending themselves from an “angry mob.” McCloskey said he hopes the jury finds Rittenhouse not guilty.
