Stark City man killed in motorcycle accident

A motorcycle accident has claimed the life of a man from Stark City.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 62-year-old Joseph M. McClelland failed to negotiate a curve a few miles north of Stella. That's when apparently he went off the road and hit a utility pole.
He was pronounced dead a short time before 11:30 AM Sunday morning but authorities do not know the exact time of the crash.
Family members had reported McClelland missing back on July 17th.
