OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt is traveling to Mexico for what his office says is a visit to strengthen trade and economic ties.
Stitt and a delegation that includes Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development Scott Mueller are to arrive in Mexico City Tuesday afternoon.
Stitt and Mueller are to meet with business and higher education officials and with U.S. Embassy officials and Mexico's Foreign Secretary to discuss the nation's recently announced plans to open a consulate in Oklahoma.
