Missouri Farmland Value Opinion Survey open through Oct. 13

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The deadline to participate in the 2021 Missouri Farmland Value Opinion Survey(opens in new window) is this Wednesday Oct. 13.

The online survey asks for the landowner’s opinion on the value of crop, pasture and forest/hunting land.

“If your work allows you to have an informed understanding of the value of land in your region, we encourage you to complete the survey,” said Ray Massey, University of Missouri Extension agricultural

No governmental or public agencies in Missouri require the reporting of land values. The survey gives the best available estimates for tracts larger than 40 acres in Missouri, Massey said

The survey takes about five minutes to complete. Massey recommends filling out the survey on a computer or tablet rather than a phone.

Take the survey at muext.us/FarmlandValueSurvey2021(opens in new window).

Results of the 2020 survey are available at extension.missouri.edu/G401.
