Lamar man arrested on Felony Statutory Sodomy charge

Authorities in Lamar say that 69-year-old Harold E. Henson of Lamar has been taken into custody in Cedar County on a charge of Felony Statutory Sodomy.

At one point during the investigation, Henson came up missing but was eventually found and arrested.

The charges follow an interview with the juvenile victim at the Southwest Missouri Children's Center.

The probable cause affidavit lists the charge as Stautory Sodomy or Attempted Statutory Sodomy with a person less than age fourteen.

Prosecutors say the crime allegedly took place at Henson's residence in Lamar.
