Ozark Center offers help during National Suicide Prevention Week

This is National Suicide Prevention Week.

Wednesday, the Ozark Center offered a training class on how to be someone’s lifeboat.

According to the Ozark Center Director of Crisis Services, Debbie Fitzgerald “Anyone can save a life.  It just takes a little courage to connect them to someone who can help.”

36 suicides happened in Southwest Missouri in 2019.

The Ozark Center Crisis Hotline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 417-347-7720.
