Liberty Utilities sends crews to Louisiana after Hurricane Ida

Liberty Utilities has sent 29 crew members to Louisiana to assist in recovery after Hurricane Ida made landfall as a category 4 storm Sunday.
A spokesman for the company said those crew members left Tuesday morning
Residents in that region are now dealing with the possibility of weeks without power in the stifling, late-summer heat.
Ida ravaged the power grid, leaving 1 million people and businesses in Louisiana without power.
The entire city of New Orleans is dark and officials say they don’t know when power would return.
At least four deaths were blamed on the storm.
