Joplin voting on extension of sales tax

Tuesday, Joplin voters will be going to the polls to decide if the quarter cent sales tax that supports parks and storm water projects will be extended.

Former Joplin Mayor Mike Seibert told the KZRG Morning News Watch, “This ten year extension will generate about 43 million dollars.”

Seibert was joined by Joplin City Manager Nick Edwards on Friday’s KZRG Morning News Watch.
