Escapee from Oklahoma prison recaptured hours later

TAFT, Okla. (AP) - An Oklahoma state prison inmate serving a sentence for escape was recaptured less than five hours after escaping a minimum security prison in eastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma State Department of Corrections says 41-year-old Robert Youngblood was taken into custody about noon Saturday after escaping the Jess Dunn Correctional Center in Taft about 7 a.m.

The department says Youngblood was seen by staff leaving the prison grounds on foot.

The department says Youngblood was serving time for escape from a Logan County jail.
