$15 Million dollar expansion in Sedalia means more jobs

Missouri's governor has announced that a Sedalia manufacturer will undergo a 15-million dollar expansion. 

The expansion will create 18 new jobs in the west-central Missouri town. Governor Mike Parson traveled to Sedalia's WireCo WorldGroup for Thursday's announcement. 

The plant currently has more than 160 employees. WireCo WorldGroup makes steel wire rope and electromechanical cable. 

The company also has plants in northern Missouri's Chillicothe and Kirksville.
