The Carthage Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing person.

67-year-old Thomas Earl Whitaker was last seen leaving the address of 523 E Eldorado St. on July 6; he is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 185 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes, and a scar on his abdomen.

Whitaker suffers from diabetes and is without his medication.
