One man charged in connection with Lake of the Ozarks shooting

Charges have been filed now in connection with a shooting incident at Lake Ozark on Thursday night that left one person dead and several others injured.

Court papers say that 50-year-old Tonka Way-Con Ponder is charged with felony armed criminal action and felony first degree assault.

Police reportedly have obtained a surveillance video that shows an altercation taking place between two motorcycle clubs.

One person is said to have pointed a gun at Ponder who drew his own weapon and shot that person dead. Multiple people were hit by gunfire, including Ponder.

The investigation is being handled by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
