Celebration of Life for Fire Chief Bill Hall on hold - again

The Celebration of Life for longtime Galena Volunteer Fire Department Chief Bill Hall has been put on hold again

The reason is the same as last time, the coronavirus pandemic.

Hall died in April 2020 after a long career in Galena.  At the time the public service was put off  due to concerns about the virus.

The event was finally rescheduled for July 24th.

Now, with the area seeing a dramatic spike in cases in July, the event has been postponed again.

No new date has been set.
