City of Joplin has announced portions of East 6th Street to close starting today

The City of Joplin has announced that East 6th Street, between Main Street and Virginia Avenue will close starting today to allow a structural analysis of the adjacent parking garage to be completed.
The upper parking lot east of the 600 block of Main Street will also be closed.
