Joplin Equity, Diversity and Inclusion work group Leadership Pledge

The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce and its Equity, Diversity and Inclusion work group announced Tuesday the launch of their Joplin Leadership Pledge for businesses.   

According to Erin Slifka with the Joplin Chamber of  Commerce, the work group has been working for almost three years.  

Did they find any examples of problems about EDI in the community?    Slifka says “Not that I am aware of.   The group has done a great job of research and putting together policy and action items to get everybody involved.”
