Pickup truck hits motorcycle intentionally; cycle rider suffers moderate injuries

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 36-year-old man from Fairview was injured when his motorcycle was intentionally hit by the driver of a pickup truck around 3:20 Saturday afternoon.

The Patrol report says 36-year old Niles M. NcNee was operating a 2000 Honda Shadow motorcycle going south on Route “O” north of Poppy Drive at Stark City when his cycle was intentionally hit by a pickup truck.

The motorcycle traveled off the right side of the road and McNee was thrown off.

McNee was taken to Freeman West hospital in Joplin suffering moderate injuries.
