Better Business Bureau concerned about online purchases

The Better Business Bureau is very concerned about online purchases.
The BBB’s Stephanie Garland says a person from Joplin made an agreement to buy a Ninja Foodie but it was never delivered and the company refuses to give the woman her money back.
Garland says the best bet is to check out an online company with the BBB before making a purchase.
“Make sure you’re looking into the company, see that it’s reputable,” Garland advises. “If you can find it on BBB.org, that’s a great indicator. Look there and see if it is A+ rated and accredited with us.”
Garland says if the company is not A-plus rated or has an F rating beware.
She says scammers are creating fake websites and they are ripping off people right here in the Joplin area.
