Three juveniles injured during Wednesday morning crash

Three juveniles were injured during a Wednesday morning crash that occurred in Newton County, around a mile north of Gateway on Spurgeon Road.

Authorities were altered to the situation around 11:30 A.M.

Newton County Ambulance, Newton County Sheriff's Deputies, and the Redings Mill Fire District all responded.

Reports say the vehicle was traveling south when it left the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, crossed over, and overturned into a nearby ditch.

Additional reports say the juveniles were taken to a nearby hospital and treated for their injuries; none of them were old enough to operate a motor vehicle.
