Highway 43 crash results in moderate injuries to Seneca man

A crash on Highway 43, about 5 miles north of Seneca in Newton County resulted in injuries to one driver Saturday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol  report says a northbound vehicle driven by 38-year-old Jenny L. Bouzek of Carthage crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by 72-year-old James L. Malone of Seneca on the side.

Malone suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

Bouzek was not injured.
