ATV accident results in severe injuries to Nevada teen

There has been another ATV accident in the Four-State area over the weekend, this time on private property a mile east of Deerfield in Vernon County.
The accident took place just after 8 o'clock Saturday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 13-year-old boy from Nevada was operating a 2018 Kawasaki 300 Brute Force when the ATV hit a hole and the boy went airborne.
The Patrol says the teen, who suffered severe injuries, was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center by a private party.
