Murder trial set to begin today in Camden County courtroom

Trial slated to begin today in a courtroom in Camden County Missouri for 59-year-old Steven Ray Endsley.

He’s charged with the murders of 27-year-old Dannielle M. Smith and her mother, 61-year-old Teresa A. Jackson.

Endsley is charged with six felonies including two counts of murder in the first degree.

Endsley and Smith reportedly had an ongoing disagreement regarding Smith’s identification as a lesbian.

The remains of Smith and her mother were found in a mobile home destroyed by fire in Camden County in August 2016.
