Governor Parson to sign SAPA bill Saturday

Landmark legislation establishing a Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) will be signed into law Saturday by Missouri's governor Mike Parson.

Governor Parson will sign SAPA Saturday afternoon at 2 in Lee's Summit.

SAPA declares that it's the duty of the courts and law enforcement agencies to protect the rights of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.

It also declares as invalid all federal laws that infringe on the right to bear arms under the Second Amendment.

Former Democratic State Representative and former judge Chris Kelly says the bill is unconstitutional.
