Body of missing girl recovered after days of searching

The body of a 12-year-old girl that was swept away by swift waters in Shoal Creek on Wednesday has been located. Read the full press release below:
On Sunday, 5/30/2020, the search for Kaylin Brown continued at 07:30 by Missouri State Water Patrol, Missouri Department of Conservation, Newton County Search and Rescue, Neosho Police and Fire Department, Mennonite Disaster Service, and Rapid Response Services.
At approximately 18:50, police were notified that Kaylin had been located.
A boat operator from the Mennonite Disaster service spotted Kaylin in the river.
Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the location of the sighting and confirmed the body was that of Kaylin Brown.
Kaylin was recovered by the Highway Patrol at 19:52. Kaylin was located 3.26 Miles downstream from Lime Kiln Park, where she first went missing from.
Kaylin was transported to Clarks Funeral Home in Neosho.
