Reid-Adams receives MSSU’s Spirit of Service Award
Joplin City Council member Dr. Diane Reid Adams has received a special honor.
She’s been named this year’s recipient of Missouri Southern State University’s “Spirit of Service Award.”
The award is given to an MSSU graduate who has made significant contributions to the community through their time, actions, talent and dedication.
In addition to the Council, she has served on numerous non-profit organizations over the years.
Reid Adams taught at MSSU for a number of years before her retirement in 2016.
