Traffic delays / construction on I-49

Starting on Monday, expect delays and lane closures on I-49 near Jasper as construction will start on two bridges between mile marker 65 and 67. 

Bridge road surfaces will be replaced with at least one lane open at all times in both directions.  

Construction is expected to be completed by December first of this year.    Detours will be signed for some exits.

This project is part of Governor Parson’s Focus on Bridges program that will either repair or replace 250 bridges in Missouri.
