Oklahoma becomes ‘2nd Amendment Sanctuary’

Oklahoma is now a “Second Amendment Sanctuary”.
Governor Kevin Stitt signed Senate Bill 631, also known as the “Second Amendment Sanctuary State Act,” which says that any federal, state, county, or municipal act, law, executive order, administrative order, court order, rule, policy, or regulation ordering the buyback, confiscation or surrender of firearms, firearm accessories or ammunition from law-abiding citizens of this state shall be considered an infringement on the rights of citizens to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States and Article II, Section 26 of the Constitution of Oklahoma.
The governor also signed a law that he says will make it harder for cities to defund the police. SB 825 states “Any municipality that levies a dedicated tax pursuant to a vote of the people for the purpose of funding public safety or any other governmental purpose shall not redirect all or a portion of the dedicated tax revenue to another purpose without a vote of the people authorizing such action.”
