Some staff members from the University of Oxford's music department have allegedly suggested removing sheet music from the school's curriculum because of connections to a "colonial" past
Reports say that music notation has not "shaken off its connection to its colonial past" and it would be a "slap in the pace: for students of color."
The proposed changes come in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.
