Free speech in Neosho could be affected

The Neosho City Council is debating whether to ban politicians from renting out booth spaces at local community events which could lead to affecting free speech for politicians.

On the KZRG Morning News Watch, Missouri State Representative Ben Baker shared his thoughts. “It’s dangerous because then again, you are trying to prevent the exchange of ideas and that is the bedrock of what makes us.”

The comments about the proposal were overheard in a phone conversation.  The Morning News Watch is heard weekdays from 6 AM to 9 AM on Newstalk KZRG.
