Henkle's customer happy after business helps return cash

There's nothing like finding something you thought you'd lost -especially when it involves money.

That's what happened to a customer of Henkle's Ace Hardware in Webb City.

A customer turned in an envelope of cash found in the business's parking lot on Friday.

After management scanned security video and called customers, someone claimed the cash early Saturday morning.

"At 8:01 a.m., a customer called to claim the money," a post on Henkle's Facebook page reported. "Said she hadn't slept all night and cried when we told her we had it! Thanks to everyone that got the word out!"

Henkle's soon will be opening a second store. A new structure is in process of being built at 29th and McClelland in west Joplin. Applications are being accepted online .

Interviews will begin in the near future.
