Remains of corpse found in State Line Road and Angus Drive identified

Authorities have identified the body of an individual who was lying in a ditch around State Line Road and Angus Drive.

After the Newton County Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene, they identified the corpse as 25-year-old Brylee Obanion.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.

A double homicide was also discovered in Jasper County; Deputies believe these events are connected.
