Oklahoma woman who threatened school shooting gets probation

(AP) A 19-year-old woman from Oklahoma, who is charged with threatening a mass shooting at her former high school, has pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of outraging public decency. Court records show Alexis Dawn Wilson of McAlester entered the plea Friday and was sentenced to one year of probation. Wilson was arrested in September 2019 and charged with terrorism after a co-worker told investigators that Wilson said she wanted to shoot 400 people at McAlester High School. No shooting took place and Wilson’s attorneys said in a statement that the plea agreement shows the state had a weak case.
