Springfield man arrested for role in US Capitol riot

A man from Springfield, Missouri, was arrested by FBI agents and police in Springfield Thursday afternoon after he was wanted for his role in the riots on Capitol Hill January 6.

Zachary Martin was taken into custody on federal charges of restricted buildings or grounds, unlawful activities on Capitol Grounds, disorderly conduct and demonstrating in the Capitol building.

Martin was taken into custody without incident.
