Man charged in deadly shooting, setting vehicle on fire

(AP) - A Kansas City man has been charged with killing a man last month and setting a vehicle containing his body on fire. Twenty-two-year-old Keith Hernandez, of Kansas City, is charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and burning and tampering with physical evidence in the death of 25-year-old Devonta Dunson. The Kansas City Star reports that Dunson was shot twice in his vehicle while it was allegedly parked in front of Hernandez's residence. According to prosecutors, Hernandez then moved Dunson's vehicle about five blocks and set it on fire. Charging documents say the crime was captured on home security cameras. Prosecutors requested a $250,000 bond. Court records did not list an attorney for Hernandez.
